Chamber Strings

The award-winning TP Chamber Strings (Advanced Orchestra) is our top-level string ensemble.  Enrollment is by audition only.  This class is open to 9th  – 12th-grade students but consists primarily of upper-level students.  This ensemble studies repertoire at the collegiate level.  Students in this class perform in a high-level chamber ensemble setting while studying challenging classical and contemporary works and building strong interpretive and leadership skills. The ensemble advances to the SCSBOA regional festival yearly, consistently earning Unanimous Superior ratings.

This ensemble regularly rehearses and performs works for full orchestra along with students from our band classes.
