Parent Meeting Recap

​We had a very well-attended Parent Meeting on Sept. 10. Many thanks to the parent who have already made a donation to support the music program! If you missed the meeting, or if you attended and you want to review the information that was presented, check out the slide presentation from the meeting. Our parent donation goal this year is $32,000. These contributions form the foundation of our program funding and allow us to keep the music strong.

Right now, you can make the biggest impact:

$300 suggested donation for Band/Orchestra/Jazz : That's $30/month for a 10-month school year
$100 suggested donation for MIDI/Instrumental Music : That's $10/month for a 10-month school year

Donate to Torrey Pines Music

Donations are essential to the music program at Torrey Pines.  The program gets no funding from the district other than teacher salary, yet music programs are very expensive to run.  We rely on donations to cover the costs of coaching, sheet music, instruments, equipment, transportation, festival registration fees, and other expenses. We ask all music parents to make a donation to support the program. Your support is greatly appreciated.

You can also donate by check payable to TPHSF (TPHS Foundation), and write Music Donation in the memo line. Place checks in the Music Boosters box in the Administration Building.

All donations are tax deductible. You will receive a receipt from the TPHS Foundation for your tax records.

Our goal is 100% participation. Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated!
